My hair

Picture taken 29/12, about 13:10.Picture taken 29/12, about 14:50.It finally happened, I cut my hair! I wouldn't see it as too much of giving in to all the pressure, more like an interesting change for the new millennium (there's that damn word again ...). Until now only five or six people could guess what was coming, and only one knew for surer than the other. The whole family was caught off-guard, confusion, bewilderment, chaos and riots following (ahem ...). Ok, overdid that last sentence a bit, but everyone was surprised, and more people will be ... New year's eve will mean meeting all the relatives, and they're completely unaware of this change too ...

If you're going to change your hairstyle radically, do it this way, it's a lot of fun ...

People actually ask me quite often when I'm going to get my hair cut, and on one occasion I got the question why I have long hair. Before starting 10th grade, I kept my hair short. After that, it has grown quite uninterrupted.
I thought about it, and I realised there probably is a reason, of sorts. It probably marks some kind of psychological change from class 9 to class 10. I didn't really like my class in grade 7 to 9, known as the högstadium. Maybe the mix of people wasn't right for me. Anyway, in my class at Rudbecksskolan I felt at home right from the start. Probably as a consequence of this, these last years of school has been the ones I have enjoyed the most.
So, maybe the growing hair marks this change in one way or other. Perhaps I will cut it off after the end of 12th grade, who knows?

There is probably a point about growing up to be made here, but it is currently out to lunch ;-).
