Warm, I want to get warm! Been out all day with the class, watching them participate in a bandy tournament while wearing far too thin clothes. It also meant getting up forty minutes earlier in the morning, which by now makes me both cold and a bit more tired than usual. I seem to remember the weather was just about the same, cold and windy, when my class participated a few aeons ago. Some things you remember ...
This class was a bit better than my own though. Back then, our goalie got ten crowns from our teacher when the opponents scored less than ten goals. This time around, the goalie only let three goals in in all, and all in the same game. And that was against the team with one bandy player and two hockey players ... The Black Sharks 2 crushed our vitory dreams and left us out in the cold (not that we weren't already there ...). At least we didn't have to sit around waiting another hour for the finals. Always look on the bright side, right?
My little Unreal map project is still moving along at a reassuring pace. Lights, water, movers and other details are being added to the basic design, which is now complete. Not sure how good the map will actually be, but just finishing a whole map will be really nice and inspiring. I've already got ideas for new maps I'd like to do. Oh yeah, we've cleaned the mouse too, it made a lot of difference for accuracy.
On Sunday, the train leaves for Almnäs again, and I really don't feel like going back there, even if it's only for two weeks, which it is. I like to have a room of my own! They were right about one thing though, when they said the practise period is what most people like most of the whole education.
A word of warning to someone out there (you probably know who you are): you'll get mail someday in the quite near future ...
