Two weeks over with, ten to go ...

This week, lessons have started for real. We've had lessons about fires, some basic care of people confined to bed, a bit of different conceptions of life and stuff like that. Just to make sure we really felt like we're back in school, we've been given some homework to sweat over. Enthusiasm was high ...

Computer security is being increased, of course ... Not only will logins and passwords be required from now on, the hard-drives will be reset at each reboot! Now that's a grand idea! Better start bringing in lots of disks in case we have to do any kind of work ... At least they'll include Quake II in the configuration ...

Bought a birthday present for my sister yesterday. Now, I only have about SEK 60 until October 25, when pay for the civil service is distributed, feels really good to know that ...

Reading the Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy again, I've lost count of which time it is, and it's still a great couple of books. All those wierd details, the wierdness of the plot itself and the fact that you still get a feeling there's some kind of flow and connection in the whole series. Except perhaps for Mostly Harmless, I've never liked that one very much. It should have ended with So Long, And Thanks for the Fish, that would have been much better. Adams probably thought so too, as that was the end of it for a long time. Oh well, perhaps it'll be better this time around, after all, I haven't read it nearly as many times as the others.

A quick check reveals that now only Q and Z lack a page or two starting with them. Anyone remember that old game Zool? Perhaps it deserves some attention ... Or perhaps Quake does after all ...
