My brother got The Rivan Codex for birthday. It's stuff Eddings wrote before the Belgariad and Malloreon, information about the world, some of the holy texts and so on. Anyway, I started reading it yesterday, and it's inspiring. So much that I've decided to try and breath some new life into my own fantasy world, currently consisting soley of the continent Aleder. I had written some stuff about it on my old homepage, so I unzipped it and had a look. 25 objects, 8 of which were HTML-documents, and a whopping 317 kb ... Those image-maps may have been nice, especially the one for Aleder, but they took their time to load. And I hadn't reduced the colour-depth as much as possible either. To top that, most of it was done using Pagemill, a HTML-editor for God's sake! Some evolution has taken place since then ...

Now I'll just have to give it an overhaul, upload and start expanding it. I have some new ideas already ...
