Summer is approaching at the speed of a rampant sunbeam, and with it comes all the final tests you never wanted. German on Monday, Swedish on Tuesday, with maths, physics and chemistry queuing up for their turn to torment you ... At least it's spring for real, the light's great this time of the year, not to mention the air from an open window ... Carpe diem, and be happy! I feel good, even with all those tests, and the fact that the bus drove away from me on Monday didn't get me down either. But it was rude of the driver, he even looked right at me before he accelerated and drove away. How do they expect to get customers behaving like that? Perhaps they're trying to remove all the troubles involving passengers; wear and tear, higher fuel consumption and so on ...

Nerikes Allehanda, our local newspaper, had an article today presenting the theory that the ego is just an illusion, created just because it's beneficial. Having just had a test on the subject, I realized that theory fits rather nicely into the thoughts of Hinduism. They've always said that we are not really individuals, but all part of the Brahma, the world soul. But, and this is the really cool bit, Maya, the veil of illusion, prevents us from realizing this ... The Hindus were a bit, 3000 years or something, ahead of science there ... Prehaps cows will be the next bit thing in dust collection and removal ;-) ...
