Is it legal being this tired from just having a generally nice and effortless day? I'll have to blame the increasingly autumnlike and dark weather for that, since I haven't really done anything troublesome at all. I even went to bed before 22:00 yesterday (hey, what would the meaning of yeasterday be?), something which normally never happens ...

Anyway, I got up at half past six so we'd have time to celebrate my mother's birthday before everyone went to work/school. A birthday celebration really helps in getting out of bed and waking up earlier ... From me she got Beatles' "White" (cool to make an album without a printed name anywhere!) album, which I think is the most expensive present I've bought so far. The cake was good too, a classic thing covered by a thick layer of green marzipan, yet without becoming too sweet.

Anyway, one result of the celebration was that I arrived five or so minutes late for "work". Not that it mattered, that's a good thing about working with a teacher always late for lessons. When the kids realized I'd forgotten my pencils at home, they immediately let me borrow one. not for writing, but so I could draw more for them. I have orders for days, and I couldn't leave until half an hour after the end of the day. It's nice when people appreciate your talents ...

It feels a bit odd when homework is handed out to the class and you realize you're not even supposed to do it. Come to think of it, it's a bit unusual feeling to already know everything that's being taught.

Moved the Windows taskbar to the top of the screen, I figured it will help me to keep my head a bit more up and at a comfortable angle. The downside is that the bottom of the screen feels so light it should float away anytime. It's odd to press "minimize" and watch the window shrink upwards. Also I still write from up to down, so maybe this won't make very much of a difference anyway ...
