Swedish PC Gamer, in a note on Unreal Tournament, once stated that real life just didn't look as good after you'd played Unreal. I thought about it, and realized that for me it worked the other way round. After playing lots of games stuffed with eyecandy, I've realized just how good the world really looks. Take a look at the skies of Unreal. Some of them look truly stunning, no other game even comes close to being as good looking. But then, take a look at the real thing, especially in the evening, when true colored light effects are at their best, just like the Unreal ones. Awesome, isn't it? Just the field of view and the sense of distance can be enough. Trees are another wonderful decoration, and they look great at any time too. We have a great effect over at Almnäs. The huge asphalt yard is lit by strong lights above a line of trees. In the evenings, the trees are lit in all their visual autumn glory with one of those unbeatable skies above. Looks good, to say the least.

What I'm trying to say is; if you think games look great, take a look at the real world for a while and compare the two. You can't beat the real thing ...
