Just wrote about German insetead of studying for the killer grammar test on said language on Friday. Sadly, as some would put it, I don't feel bad at all about it ...
The breadbox in our kitchen, or rather our way of using it, is quite strange. Opening it, you'll never find more than maybe a few cookies and one or two slices of either stale or molding bread. On top of, and around, the box however you'll find all the bread we actually eat. Often, the box itself is empty, serving as base for an unstable pile of different types of bread. Actually, we can't fit all the bread we use in the box, and that's probably why we don't put anything at all in it. Bread that is put in there faces certain molding, as no-one would think of looking inside it for something to eat. And still, we haven't thought of throwing the box away, even though it takes up some useful space. Every family needs stupid traditions, right?
