Back home again! The madness went on after the 22nd too, it ended up being 10 km each day. Don't worry, It won't go on now that I'm home ... On the whole, it was a nice trip, even though the beds felt rock-hard and at least 10 cm too short the first few days.

As usual, we went home on Friday evening instead of on Saturday. I really like travelling by car by night. Travelling without moving, sort of, through the dark landscape, dotted with lights. Landscape passing by on both sides, smoothed out and made mystical by the darkness. Other cars, appearing only as a pair of yellow lights. And driving through light veils of mist or heavy rain or snowfall can't really be surpassed (visually, that is). We went through some really heavy snowfall on our way home, when driving through it in 100 kmh it starts looking like those hyperspace effects in Star Wars, when the stars become white lines. And the way snow appears in the light of the streetlamps ... Computer games still has some way to go before they can compete with reality when it comes to atmosphere and effects :-) ...
