It's 23:28 and I'm sitting around listening to MLS wondering what, and if I should write an entry here or not. Seem to have reached a conclusion on that matter now anyway ...
Lina and I started working on the realization (the actual programming and database construction part) part of the final project today. Work on this is in groups of two or less people, so Henrik and Jon are working over at Henrik's place on their version of the project. Had some phone conversation on mutual issues, the analysis we did before and are basing our realization on. Henrik happened to discover a pretty decent error in it, which made it kind of bad to know we handed the analysis in yesterday ... Doesn't mean we can't correct the error for the realization, but a bit annoying we didn't see that yesterday. Well, it's good to work in an iterative way, isn't it? Going back and changing things if the need arises instead of sticking with bad foundations. Good :-) ... Today felt quite productive, we got a database together, worked out the database components of Delphi a bit and sketched out different forms. Tomorrow we start on the really troublesome bits: actual programming ...
Dang, music ran out and I'm still writing! Oh well, filling the space with a quick listen to those music tracks on NOLF disc two ... "Tracks inspired by the 60's" is such a silly definition ... This is HTML-file number 500 by the way, looks pretty similar to the rest huh? Took 119 days to break this barrier, think most of it's diary entries. Also think I could/should do more thoughts. Still have this list of possible subjects, and it never really shrinks ... Guess it feels harder to fit thoughts into the structure, and harder to stay to one subject at a time, or something ... Adding notes on things to new subpages is something I've improved on, meaning it feels a bit easier to add to subjects, not feeling it has to tie-in with the previous text or make it even longer.
Ten minutes of smooth music left, then it's time for bed. The whole intention of working on the project is to be focused and get things done, not like any lecture or something to just pull through ...
Spared myself a useless bicycle trip across town by being smart (for a change :-) and calling Parkhallen before I went there. Turned out Katarina had already prepared everything for tomorrow and gone home. So I stayed put, and felt happy about it. Somehow feels like you're being rude in some way to all those who work there all day when you show up for just a few hours in the afternoon, without really doing any hard work either. Don't know what others think, but it's a feeling I get anyway ...
Substantial entry this, nice (even if it's with some meta-talk like this :-) ...
I wonder if I'd be writing a lot of something else if I didn't pour words into this site all the time? Both want to sleep and start a mail to Bonnie now ...
