Site of the weekend: Gamasutra! Read about it in the Internetworld that came on Thursday, then visited and got hopelessly sucked into reading postmortems on various games, articles on design document creation and more. Lots of inspiration!
Snarl-up work is also moving along nicely now, even my part of it. Seems we're all getting into a nice productivity increase now, after an extended period of, well ... less productivity :-) ...
However, there are now about six hours left of the weekend, and I still haven't got any studying done :-) ...
Woke up to find my alarm clock had silently died at some undefined time in the morning, along with all other electricity in the house. The reason, after some experimentation with the fuses, turned out to be that the water heater had given up. Realizing that there probably wouldn't be any warm water at all left by tomorrow morning, I stepped into the shower after lunch, trying to brace myself for what I expected to be a pretty chilly experience. It seemed to take a bit longer than usual, but I did get some comfortably warm water, and it didn't suddenly run out either. It feels wierd to shower in the middle of the day somehow, especially when you haven't done any exercise or anything to excuse it :-) ...
