Totally forgot to note that I'd passed the 600 document line the last time I updated, but that was still the case. Update pace, as noted, has slowed down quite a lot in the last few months, took a little over seven months this time, but I think I can safely consider them special cases. It's not like they've been normal months after all. Work and travelling are considered valid reasons for lack of updates in my book :-) ...
Have come across the CD version of System Shock, joy and happiness! Guess I'll have to do some configuring to get it to work (it's a DOS game after all, and doesn't start right now), but just hearing SHODAN's voice in the sound test and intro is enough to make me happy. Another testament to the value of good voice acting (and some nice effects on top of that in this special case of course :-).
Have downloaded Staroffice for Linux as well, but haven't figured out the correct settings for burning the bin file on a CD yet. Must be missing something ... Seem to need a cue, so to speek ...
Hmmm, maybe it isn't that kind of bin at all. Maybe I'm just fooling myself as usual :-) ... Yep, that seems to be the case, just ignore the above paragraph ...
