Today our internet connection has been on strike all day. Amazingly, the abstinence isn't too bad, but I'd like to get word out about it to others whom it may concern. It might be Telia being a few days early with shutting down the subscription, but that seems unnaturally early and efficient for a company. Then again, I guess you shouldn't be surpsised with that, since they're always slow when you want them to do things ...

And if things don't improve I can always dig out an old modem or two to pull by until things get better (which may not be until I've got ADSL up and running in my apartment) ...

Seem a little ironic or something that both Bonnie are without proper internet connection at the same time, but at least it saves a bit of waiting and wondering (compared to if we'd do it right after eachother or something) ...

Yesterday the connection worked just fine though (and well past midnight too if I'm not mistaken), and you might say I made use of it. That's why I now find myself lying on the floor, with a way too thick pig pillow supporting my wrists, writing this update on my second PC ever. Haven't decided the roles for the computers yet, but I'm leaning toward having this one as the main (gaming) computer, moving over the GeForce card and other stuff to it since the basic specs are in favour of this box along with upgrade options.

Again, I'm still just trying things out (sitting on the floor in front of a 14-inch monitor and all :-), we'll see how it ends up ...

Anyway, tomorrow Petter's coming over, that'll be nice. And he's bringing his full copy of Max Payne, which doesn't make things worse in any way ...
