And yes, in case you were wondering, that was a large two-partition-loss argh ... You may also have noted a slight lack of the really desperate edge to it, and the explanation is simply that it sure wasn't the two most important partitions. Ludusi houses (housed, dang) games and Thesaurus hosted backup files, surely not the two worst things to lose.
I mean, what nags me the most right now are losses of saves on Metal Gear Solid and Crimson Skies.
The big nag for me is really how exactly it happened. I'm pretty sure of in what chain of events it happened, but exactly why and when is still beyond me ...
Between this, Palm troubles and messing with Linux, it's been a bad month for data security in my immdeiate surroundings :-) ...
And of course, file transfers from my Amiga still seems beyond possible ...
Sigh ... But otherwise I've got nothing to complain about! And it's making me finally do a backup of some stuff I really wouldn't like to lose as well. Look on the bright side ...
