Got to fill this space out somehow to get the March section started ... Mental note: try not to start new pages without having any idea whatsoever as to what you're going to write on them! The menu structure is getting a bit deep isn't it? It's starting to take a few clicks to get between two months without resorting to the dreaded back-button, and that's not a merit. There! Now that's fixed. Not too good looking perhaps, but it works as intended, fits into the general look and doesn't take up any extra space. Also made sure there are plenty of pages to upload today too, which isn't a too exciting thing, but it does at least feel good, like you've been productive ...
Weather's decisively gray and rainy, so I don't think I'll go to the city today either. When you prefer to take the bike instead of the bus, the weather has some impact on those decisions (don't suppose an american can understand that you can take the bike to get somewhere, but it's actually true, believe it or not!).
Doing some research trying to find out the date this site was started using the dates of the files. The oldest file, fredrik.gif, which can be seen on the about me page (that grainy photo), is dated to August 25, 1998, but I'm pretty sure it was created in a picture-manipulation experiment before the actual site. Then comes my small corner gifs, they're from September 15 the same year. They were used in the design experiments leading up to the final layout of this site, so they've been in this since before the publishing too. The first latest update-entry is from October 6, 1998, so the first upload is somewhere between those dates. So, my guess for site birthday is somewhere around the first of October 1998. So, let's proclaim October 1 official site birthday!
