Nooo, I don't feel like getting up early and go to work tomorrow! Want to get up late and look at programming instead! The infamous programming course started today. Just some introduction talk today, doesn't feel all that difficult yet :-) ... So far, the most notable effect is that I've been motivated into thinking about making a rougelike game again (you know, moving around a character, your heor, attacking other characters, monsters, by bumping into them). Our teacher told us making up our own exercises can be a good way of learning, as long as you don't set your goals at Quake or something ... Going to do some more browsing in the book later, first priority is trying to update the damn Tripod mirror again ... With my luck, Tele2 may have shut down our connection as well (dad happened to mention a few days ago that he hadn't paid the bill or something, like that was just a minor issue for everyone ...). If so, I can still get online using a free account, but then I might be shut out from both mirrors ... Oh well, guess I shouldn't rejoice in the worst-case scenario until I've even tried to connect ...
Still got the computer case open after installing the second graphics card yesterday, the air right next to the GeForce fan is pretty warm. Wonder if that's got something to do with the lockups whenever I try to do the least bit of overclocking :-) ... Think someone could use a bit more cooling there, perhaps moving the network card down a bit would improve things too, even if that card's about as small as they get ... The old ATI 3D Charger (yeah, right!) card is by far the largest inside the case (well, apart from the motherboard of course), and it also has so much dust on it you want to cough just from looking at it ...
