7/9

Another couple of days have quietly slipped away, that's what happens when you have activities starting at 18:00 to attend to almost every night. Was out yesterday too, but it wasn't anything special at all. Didin't even feel energized on the way home, my main feeling was that it would be nice to go to bed and have some sleep ... Been told tonight's event is a classic thing though, the height of the introduction period older students tell us, so it might just be nice ... Monday night was pretty nice too, but it had drawbacks afterwards (damn home made wine) ...

Checked my mail for the first time this week yesterday, some people had been unusually active in that period. I've got some catching up to do concerning Snarl-up and our projects, suddenly everyone but me has started sending mails all over the place discussing interesting things. Absolutely not a bad thing that, but sure makes me feel I should have checked my mail a bit more frequently ...

Some aspects of university studies are easier to adapt to than others. All lessons but one this month starting at 10:00 or later is something I definitely have no problem accepting ... Feels nice to wake up an hour and a half before the alarm sounds and feel rested ... Just having one lesson per day (so far anyway), or less, is easy picking up too. Just hope I can make myself study enough to get everything and pass the tests. That'll be easier after this week, when there aren't parties and stuff every single night ... Good thing we haven't done anything particularily difficult so far, plenty of time to get up to speed before the dreaded programming course starts. A frightening lot of people seems to have needed several attempts before passing the programming test, so I suppose that'll be the first real proof of whether I can do this or not :-) ...

Hmmm, think I'll give the books half an hour or something now, just to ease my conscience ...
