Will be today in about four minutes, so I figured I might as well date this the way I've done ...
Am finally trying LiteStep. Have been thinking about doing this for a while, but didn't think everyone else would have liked me installing it on the P2-450 ... So, I left the install package alone until I got this computer, and then a while longer from standard lazyness :-) ... But now I've done it at last, feels like a step on the way to trying a different OS: leaving the standard Explorer shell behind ... The next step is BeOs ... So much higher coolness factor in typing text to create your own interface than in just changing your desktop picture ... Have done a bit of skinning and stuff too. Nothing that'll win any awards, but it's my own, I've done it myself and put it together by hand. Wonder why my minimize button won't work on all windows though? Perhaps if I link it to the standard Windows minimize command ... Nope, that one wouldn't work at all, was a thought at least ... Then again, with four desktops (or more if the need arises) and no shortcuts on said desktops (so far anyway), cases when I want to minimize everything aren't as common. And I get an error message whith the shortcut to my index.htm, even though it works. And IE icons aren't transparent like all the others. Should do something about that taskbar too ... Lots left to learn and do, feels nice ...
02:07, think "bedtime" could be a good word to insert here ... Sitting around staring at the monitor and just flipping between desktops isn't all that creative after all, and not as resting as sleep either ...
