Sitting in front of the fire, it's 12:18. Staring into the flames, listening to Hagnesta Hill. It's good, yet you really have to listen to get into it. It's not a record you pick for background music, you have to make listening the primary activity. And, as usual for Kent, it's not exactly a happy record either, limiting the times you put it in the player even more. Once you do though, it's as full of Kent-magic and emotions as usual. Well invested time, in other words. Yet, it could still do with a few more fast songs ...
School started again yesterday, so now I have the house to myself in the days again. At least until I manage to get a job. Yes, I am trying to get one more actively now, so don't yell at me! Apart from just sitting in front of some screen or other I spend time learning C++ and how to juggle. Juggling is nice since progress is relatively fast. In not too many hours worth of practise, spread out over about a week, I only need to polish my throws some to really get going. C++, naturally, requires a bit more effort, yet it's not as hard as I imagined. But then, I haven't got into any real programming so far ... The book seems to be one of the better too, "international bestseller" on the cover must stand for something ...
At 13:03 the best radio program of all starts. Listening to it is one of the most important privileges of being at home daytime instead of in school. The program is, of course P3's Önska, "the only program sent in Euro". It's the program I time my lunch to, just to make sure I don't forget listening because I do something else. "Önska" means wish in case you didn't know, and wishing to hear different songs is the main idea of the program. There's a lot more to it however. Events like wrestling (yes, it's over the phone) and looks at people's photo albums feature quite often too. Yes, there is quite a bit of humour in the program ... And those phone calls ... And the fact that they have a jingle they play before every jazz tune, stating that "we know that jazz is dangerous" ... Come to think of it, there is a certain risk today's program will feature music by Gyllene Tider only. The reason for this is that yesterday one of the comperes revealed that the other one had stated that he'd never play a song by Gyllene Tider in the program, so you never know what might happen ... Anyway, it will all be revealed in about fifteen minutes, time to start preparing lunch then ...
