And then, it's suddenly over. Did my last day, for the summer anyway, at Parkhallen yesterday. The two last days saw a dramatic increase in orders, most customers are back from their holidays it seems. Thirteen orders on Thursday was the most I've ever had to handle, at first I even doubted I'd be done on time. Things were much better than I'd feared though, could work much faster nowadays than I could back in May or June, when there last were many orders to handle. Ten orders on Friday weren't any trouble either, was really worried there would be even more though, since Fridays are typically more order-intensive than Thursdays. Could live with being wrong on that point though ...
So, now I'm completely free to do as little as I please for more than a week before university studies begin. Mean to take some sleep back :-) ... Got to get over to the university to pay some fee too, in order to get student loans and stuff later on, and those are pretty necessary so I'd better do it ...
Listening to CD music by connecting headphones directly to the CD-ROM player. Don't like that solution, it's not perfect in any way ... Damn cheap soundcard ... Still can't get to high resolutions with decent refresh rates either, but realized 1280*960 has the right 4*3 proportions as well as good refresh rates available, so I've stepped up to that resolution anyway.
Sometimes I think of using more graphics on this site, it could be nice in many ways. Still, I think it would go against the idea of the site a bit. Then, I should perhaps change the whole design. But then, it's not much fun to mess with 384 (currently) HTML files at once ... And, I like to keep things without changing or deleting stuff, and changing the whole design would be deleting the old one ...
Petter left for Luleå again today. He's been home all summer, and we've met a grand total of one time ... Me working most of the time is an excuse of course, but it's still very representative of our friendship to take contact quite seldom. Suppose that can be seen in a positive light though, we don't need to meet every single day to remain friends. We're people like that (we've had more contact by email when he's in Luleå than we've had now that he's home, see what I mean?) ... Or, even more so, I'm a person like that. I very seldom call people or anything, tend more to just sit around and wait for others to make contact. Need to work on that perhaps, but also I don't feel all that much need to meet new people all the time ... Negative chain of thought this methinks, doesn't get me anywhere ...
