20/7
This is a clear case of diary entries/updates getting a date which is somewhat incorrect. As I start to write this, the computer's clock shows 23:59 (just switched to 00:00 now) ... Nevertheless, this will be considered an update made on July 20th, much for the reason that I feel it's getting a while since I updated last. There, now you got another quick look into the thinking behind the update dates and stuff ...
Something's a bit wrong with either screen settings or my eyes. My eyes start feeling strained from looking at the screen pretty much right away, and it's not the good old refresh rate problem turning up again, I've checked that ... Perhaps I've just been more in front of this screen today than during the last few weeks, but I don't think so. No matter, we'll notice if something suddenly gets unbearable ... Must be getting old (or perhaps those glasses just need a good cleaning) ...
Somehow managed to get the pillowcase off of my pillow in my sleep last night, that's a first time I think ... Today was first day of my four-day weekend, first day of no clock ringing in the morning. Guess if the phon rang instead? Tonight I'm disconnecting the phone in my room, shouldn't be any calls for me before I wake up (most people who'd call me don't know I'm not at work, so they won't try home) ...
Slowly advancing through Ground Control, but still not enjoying it as much as Myth 2. The lack of a save feature doesn't work too well with those long missions with nasty surprises toward the end ... Am in fact re-playing Myth 2, just to make sure I'm not blinded by nostalgia or something. It turns out I'm not, I do like it better ... This isn't saying Ground Control is bad or anything even close to bad, just that I like Myth 2 better.
Screen is annyoing, hope it will have worn off by tomorrow ...
