Ever considered, in general, just what the odds are (again, in general)? If you haven't, maybe you'll be better off without, doing so might get tricky and philosophical ... I mean, I'm in town looking for a suitable job at Expo (and yes, I have applied for it too! ;-). I turn around and look out through the glass door for a second or two, and spot Martin and Niclas walking by outside through it. I get out and catch up with them, and they stop just outside because they've just met Robert who was coming from the opposite direction. We chat for about fifteen minutes, a conversation which, statistically, is impropable and moving toward impossible. What if I had turned around five seconds later? What if the bus Martin and Niclas went by had been later or earlier? And then you throw Robert into the mix and things get even closer to impossible ... Consider that conversation was the reason I forgot to buy Nasin (nose spray, for my cold), and you could have bet I'd be coming home with a package of the stuff. You just can't trust statistics, so never, ever, say never ...

Skin cream and mouse wheels are a bad combination by the way, so consider yourself warned! Can't live without either though :-) ...

No wonder png isn't used any more than it is, it isn't exactly often you have a reason to choose it before gif or jpg. When bandwidth is an issue, and it always is, you want to use the smallest format, and that seems, to me anyway, to be gif or jpg almost always. I can't say always anymore though, as I did encounter an enormous logotype which actually became a bit smaller as png than as gif with the same colour depth. But hey, how often do you use images wider than 1024 pixels on your web sites? Yeah, me too.
