One hour left to Christmas ... The gifts are wrapped, the rhymes are written and the room has been cleaned (a bit anyway, all my schoolbooks are in a pile on the floor since I found nowhere to put them ... :-). Last examination of the year feels like it went well. Maybe not as well as the one before it, but well nonetheless. Have felt wonderfully free of responsibilites ever since I got home yesterday, it really feels like it's holiday for a few days now! It's even getting into my mind that it's Christmas Eve tomorrow, and not in a month or something. I've even got that nice feeling about it, I want it to be tomorrow evening now! Good to know I'm still a child at heart ...
Got a freeware replacement for the standard Explorer installed. It's called 2xExplorer and I already feel I don't miss old Explorer at all ... Remains to find something that makes windows more skinable though, think I've seen that in screenshots of various LiteStep themes ... Still just thinking about creating a new theme for myself, perhaps one with different functions for different virtual desktops, we'll see what (if anything, remember who we're talking about here) happens ...
Ok, technically it's well into tomorrow by now. So, Merry Christmas everyone who might be reading this!
I'm actually writing this in my own room. Moved my computer in here today since there'll be a grandfather sleeping in the study tomorrow night, making late night computer sessions seem kind of impolite :-) ... Apart from the lack of network- and especially internet-access in this room it's really nice to have it here. Also, I see my room a lot more this way, and from an angle different from the bed too :-) ...
