Moved my computer to under the desk instead of having it on top of it beside the monitor as before. The whole room got a lot more spacious now that towering piece of metal is more out of the way :-). Feels like there's nothing left on the desk, just a mouse, speakers and a keyboard connected to a screen. Strange thing is that the Dell's been sitting around like that for the past year without feeling very diminished, but then that monitor's a lot more massive than this one ... Took the edge out of the fan noise too, that's a very positive thing. I'm beginning to think my right ear is incompatible with the fan noise, it annoys me more and more ... Wonder if a modern PC would suffer an immediate and catastrophic meltdown if one were to remove all the internal fans? What if additional cooling of other types were applied instead? I'm getting tempted, that's for sure ...

Had another library studying session today, which is a good thing. Also good was that we were all relatively concentrated most of the time. Not as good was that it felt like we knew less than last time when we left ... Still almost two weeks between us and the database examination though, another positive note. Now, if only I could actualy make use of the time too ... Right now for example, why don't I put this away for a while and look at the books? Well, perhaps because it's 22:24, no big risk of being able to focus at a book page for more than ten seconds at this time. Still, I am terribly good at wasting time I could have used for studies, even after a few months of university.

Got your letter today Bonnie, thanks a million! Made me a bit dizzy here and there (ok then, just there) :-) ... Makes me unsure of wether to answer you on paper or screen too. Mean to go the paper way though, much nicer even if it loses some immediacy. Always ICQ around for that ...
