Time for random tired rants and recollections ... No updates in a few days I've noticed. Think I've got my reasons though, stuff like Christmas Eve getting in the way must be a perfectly good excuse, right?
Christmas Eve was spent in the usual highly traditional way, with mom's parents and heaps of presents being handed out over the course of about four hours. Then spent the time from about 00:00 to 05:00 trying out two new toys, namely Sacrifice and No-One Lives Forever :-) ... Expect more extensive reports on those later ...
And now I'm here at Robert's (Snarl-up, remember?), doing less creative stuff like watching the laserdisc collector's edition version of The Abyss as well as some actually creative stuff on our projects. There is something slightly outlandish and wierd about storing movies on CD-esque discs the size of LPs ... Got a T2 special edition to attend to as well if general interest is high enough.
Realized I haven't even uploaded the entries from the 23rd yet, so it seems to everyone but me there haven't been any updates for about a week. Pretty slow, blame it on the holiday (had the computer in my room over X-mas eve and haven't got around to uploading anything later). Have been generally bad at getting into various gifts, apart from the two above (of which NOLF by far has recieved the most attention). Got two albums and one EP still mostly waiting to be seriously noticed, slow work ... Will get more time when all this visiting and being visited by different people passes by ...
Better get some serious sleep between Friday and Saturday, supposed to be at the library, awake and sharp at 10:00 on Saturday, gee :-) ...
Oh yeah, we're finally getting some snow around here! Has basically been snowfall uninterrupted since last night, not the most intense type but it's beginning to add up nicely ... Glad I won't be going anywhere by bike this evening ...
Have been out for another walk, lots and lots of snow both in the air and on the ground to stumble around in, slipping on hidden spots of ice from time to time. Reminds you that winter can be pretty nice after all ...
