Another so called dangerous date passes without incident, pouring even more salt in the wounds of all the doomsday prophets. The poor bastards (or, NOT!) ...

Kristofer paid a visit today, bringing with him two magazine CDs. On one of them was a demo of Unreal Tournament, so now I'll probably have to get that game one way or the other ... Didn't miss the Almnäs Quake II sessions for one second, and I'm only playing against bots ... No wonder this won over Quake fans, playing great deathmatches, and any other multiplayer game type too, whenever you want, without having to search for a network or opponents, sure is a strong selling point. I could get pretty addicted to this for a while, no problem ... And remember, having fun and kicking bot butt is the main thing, not what difficulty level you play on! UT seems to be a slight bit taxing on the graphics card, on one occasion I got the same kind of texture garbage as when I tried overclocking my Voodoo2 (a quick alt-tab between matches fixed that, so luckily it never crashed) ...
