Worked for about eleven hours today, without having lunch too ... Don't think things like that qualify into the "smart" category, but I did at least get a lot done. Sent out all those waiting letters to people want to start shopping online. Each one recieves one letter, which includes a stamped return letter. About sixty or so people in all, two stamps and one envelope to lick for each ... Very nice to have it done though, but I hope not all of these people start shopping at once. We'd need quite a bit more staff then (and probably a night shift too) ... On the other hand, a whole Online Division would be pretty cool, maybe we could get our own shirts, and then ... Uh, perhaps I'm just in need of some sleep, I never sleep enough the night to Monday. It's the bad combination of being relatively rested on Sunday and having to get up early on Monday. Sounds a bit familiar, eh? You probably need to be free from early mornings for as long as I have to even notice ...

Palm III batteries are said to last several months under normal use. Seems I'm not normal at all, if that's any surprise, the meter says I'm down to about 63% after six days. And Ecohack doesn't seem to work with my version, wonder if there is some similar app which does? Got to cut down on letting various siblings play games on it, avoid uncanny hotsyncing and and check the store of spare batteries ...

Should be possible to do a nice short movie or comic on changing Palm batteries by the way, considering the manual says you've got about a minute to insert new batteries after you remove the old ones ... All you need is a big timer and a nervous person. Fun for all the family!

Twelve diary entries this month, I think that's a new personal record (and I don't think it makes the menu look very good at all in 800*600 with standard browser menus active ...). Seems to have been a pretty good update month in general, as opposed to April (six updates), but similar to March (twelve updates).
