Typed yesterday on the Palm ...

30/5
It's 19:30, and guess who's still at work ... If this becomes normal, I really need to start bringing lunch every day. Right, printing's finished (this printer must be the slowest in the northern hemisphere), I'm leaving! Already fearing tomorrow ...

End of data stream ...

Yesterday really felt pretty tough, had to reward myself with a double Whopper immediately afterwards. After yesterday, it actually felt like I was going home early leaving at four (having started work at six, I might add) ... Still going on without any lunch, guess the breakfast at nine is what keeps me alive ... Wednesdays means a large group of small orders from a senior home (dang! no suggestion for translation in the dicitonary!) to handle. As the order is picked up before lunch, you have to prepare everything possible on Tuesdays, that's what added a lot of time to the end of yesterday ... Those group orders can be tough to get right, they tend to write cryptic messages instead of using the normal shopping system, but today no-one complained about recieving the wrong things, and that's a nice improvement. What they did complain about was one "lost" order (someone had moved it away from the rest) and my rationalization of the order handling (won't do that the next time ...). Got it all done and tomorrow is a red day, meaning no work! Wonder how long I'll sleep ...

I currently don't mind working long days, but it annoys me that some people around here seems to think it's too much. First, they complain about you having no job for months. That's a bit justified of course. But when you've had a job for two weeks and they start talking about how you work too much I find it a bit harder to agree with. It's not like I'm forced to work against my will or anything. But that's just parents for you I guess ...

Thought I had a thought there that I wanted to play some game, but I seem to have lost it (the thought) ... Think I'm a bit tired, maybe I'll just watch the Sacrifice video and have a go at some Lemmings Revolution ...
