Smoking
Actually I think I'm more against cigarrettes than other drugs. Perhaps it's just that cigarettes are so much more common. It seems quite absurd that other drugs, drugs whose damaging effects seem badly investigated, are illegal, while cigarettes are happily sold
and are causing death and diseases costing billions each year. Cigarettes are accepted on some kind of traditional basis or something, they've been around too long for anyone to care.
If you want to kill yourself, there are so many better alternatives. Hanging, for example, is quicker and the tying of the snare gives your hands something to do ... ;-)
One wonders if there would be any smokers left if it didn't cause dependence.
