Spelling
Maybe I'm damaged in some way, but I often find errors in spelling very annoying.
I want my own writing to be as correct as possible, both in English and Swedish, so if you have anything to comment on in my grammar or spelling please tell me!
Errors made by other people can, at least in Swedish, be quite funny. In Swedish some words made up of two other words get a whole new meaning when some idiot
write it as two words. You can make the Swedish word for "no smoking", "rökfritt", mean "smoke as much as you want" by writing it "rök fritt". Things like this is quite entertaining, but
unfortunately also quite common. A theory is that the influence from English is to blame for this, people see that writing in two words is common in English, and then they do the same when they write in Swedish.
By the way, who the *#%" did the translation of Worms 2 to Swedish? Bad bad bad! Lots of two-word writing and other spelling mistakes. They should have asked me for help ;-) ...
People just don't read enough to learn good writing ...
