A long weekend, when counting wake hours, is over. Think my sleeplessness-resistance has decreased since I was at Robert's, one night without sleep made me feel alost as tired as two did back then ... But then I hadn't been working the week before of course. Went to bed around five p.m. yesterday, and was woken by the phone ringing. I must have seemed a bit confused to the person at the other end, who didn't know I'd been sleeping. My body told me the time ought to be somewhere in the middle of the night, so I had a look at the watch to see how late that careless person had called. Turned out it as late as 19:30 :-) ... Anyway, twelve hours of sleep sure felt good, and a few more tonight should get me up to, or even, above normal work-week levels. It's so much easier to get to bed when you should when the rest of the family isn't around making noise ...

Gave our P133 a nice and refreshing hard-drive cleaning followed by a change to Windows 98 and FAT 32. There is a certain thrill in typing in DELTREE WINDOWS and hitting enter ... Experienced one single lockup when converting to FAT 32, but otherwise everything went completely friction-free. Things like that still surprises me ... Now I only have a few software reinstallations to do, then everything will be just like before, only a little better (I hope) ...

Enough writing for today, five minutes until I have to start a recording for mom, then I'm heading for bed. Still have some missed sleep left to catch up ...
