Kraftwerk

Soft, slightly hypnotic and very electronic music. All from the group which, according to Kvällstoppen, takes an average of about 25 years to finish a new album. Perfect to float away into electronic dreams, in front of a glowing screen inside a dark room on a dark planet, to. I'm not waiting for the next song to start, or this one to end, I'm just floating around inside the current one with no real feel for how long it has lasted. Kraftwerk's music does that to me all the time. Eight minute tracks just float away and may have been three minutes just as well as a lifetime when they end. There's no need of excessive volume either, in fact that might even be a disadvantage. I want my Powerplant to keep a slightly low profile, more subversive that way ...

Somehow feels very right this music is from Germany, something very German about it. Clean, stylish and simple feels like architecture or something ... Also pretty dry, so much it can feel humourous that way, another attribute popularly related to Germany :-) ... Not wrong at all to balance out with some heavily orchestrated British pop music every now and then.

May not be good music for productivity this, but soothing to the mind. Computerlove ...
