Site Building Policy

This text concerns my updating of the site and a few other cornerstone ideas. In short, the inside scoop on what went on in my head when I designed this site. Come read all about it! Hrm, enough of that ...

Anyway, the basic idea is this: once something has been uploaded it stays there. Nothing will get deleted from the site. Occasionally things may get moved around but I try to avoid that too unless I have a very good reason, and if I do move content links to it will naturally be corrected as well. When larger bits are added to a page, they will usually be marked by addition date and placed toward the bottom of the page, so that's where to look for additions. This isn't an absolute rule though, look at the hair page for an example.

Another basic concept for you: pictures, java and other flashy stuff you won't see much of here. Text is what this site is concentrated on, should you somehow have failed to notice before, and I intend to keep it that way. Adding them for their own sake wouldn't benefit the site in any way, and would also slow things down, so I won't unless perhaps I suddenly decide to do a page on one of these subjects and include some examples. Look to the webdesign section for more preachings in the same style.

That's enough of that, why don't you go check out some of the other texts on the site now?
