Have started reading the first book of the Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan. Feels good to read, letting words instead of pictures engulf you. A lot to read too, eight books so far, and he's not finished yet. Plus the books are so long they are each split in two volumes for the Swedish edition. Should keep me busy for a few weeks ... Gets me thinking about writing fantasy again, just like The Rivan Codex did. Perhaps I'll be able to write something in the summer holiday, when there won't be so many tests to worry you ... The family will go to a house in southern France for about two weeks. It's a place where I've been before; it was warm, fly-infested and everyone felt French was the language to speak and write ... Having the house to myself for two weeks would be nice, no-one looming behind your back telling you to cut the lawn or do something useful. Maybe I could even get something written if I stay at home ... I don't really have any lack of ideas, the thing I need to do is sit down and put them together. We'll see about that ...

Bought Garbage's Version 2.0 a few days ago. Good songs when you think about them, but they haven't really stuck yet. The sound reminds me of a rougher version of Republica's, but I have yet to decide which I like better. The Republican luxury sound gives them a head start, but Garbage isn't trash either ... They're approaching quickly. A bit more demanding, but perhaps a bit deeper too. One bad thing is they haven't included full lyrics in the CD booklet, it hampers your understanding of the songs. No matter how hard you listen, you always get it quicker with the lyrics in hand. Will have to get them from the net then ...

Can't really cut my hair short before school's end, it would feel too much like giving in ...
