Total zero-productivity: sitting in front of the computer listening to the radio playing summer hits while you play Winmine ... It could be topped of with a bowl of really fattening snacks of course, but I don't really want any. Plus I haven't got any, so I'll do without.
The nice, looming clouds seem to be slowly clearing up. At least they gave some really intensive rainfall before they left. Normal rain can hardly be heard in my room, the one last night could well have been a hailstorm judging from the sound. Too bad for all midsummer celebrators out there. They still seem to have caused a lot of trouble anyway though ... Wonder if that rain beat the one on Gnällbältsrocken last year. When the rain stopped that evening around ten or so, it had been intense enough to dissolve a paper bag I had had in the pocket of my coat. Luckily, later that evening The Soundtrack of our Lives went on stage and made all you pains go away. Except of course an annoying ringing in my ear for two days or so ... By that time, it had even cleared up enough to let you see the stars, and then Confrontation camp rumbled loose ... Sigh (dreamy) ...
All this gibbering just because there was some great rain yesterday. And that I even wrote about in yesterday's entry ...
1600*1200 is one scary resolution. My site becomes a sea of darkness interrupted by stained white and grey areas. Yet, there will probably be a day when the 6d interactive sites have info screens stating that "Your browser should use a resolution of 8000*6000 or higher and at least 67 billion colours ...". And 1600*1200 16 bit colour site will bring a nostalgic tear to youe eye. Can't keep advances back forever you know ...
Yes, I know you can't see that many colours, but it seemed like a good number ...
Think I've reached the final mission of Brood War, can't see how it could possibly get any more difficult than this. What I need is a good strategy for Zerg, I've never really liked the critters ... Perhaps I'll have to ask Binder for advice again, but that feels a bit like cheating ...
