Another month begins, and I'm still not doing anything useful like working or so ... May be very close to getting a job though, just waiting for their call. They seem to have some kind of problem getting started with things over there. Should mean I'll feel right at home there ;-) ... Apart from that things are pretty good. We've had a few days of real summer heat, which are regrettably gone again by now. Seems there is always about a week of serious summer in the spring, and then very little real summer during the real summer nowadays ... Well, all the more reason to enjoy it while it lasts I suppose. Too bad we humans are better at complaining about the current situation than enjoying. I don't think I'm the only one who's spending much of my time thinking about how good a different weather than the current one is.
Celebrated Valborg (note: a page on swedish holidays perhaps?), April 30th, with parts of Snarl-up Software having a barbecue, talking a lot and almost collectively falling into a canal ... A nice evening in all.
Revisited the world of Total Annihilation a few days ago. It still doesn't have that attraction you want from a good game, so I haven't managed to make myself extend that revisit. A contributing factor was that I neglected saving as often as I should, so when my commander somehow ended up way out and got him/itself killed, restart was the only option. And those TA units just lack personality ...
The space bar is starting to sound different than usual and fails to register a few presses every now and then. If that remains it will be the first time I've ever seen a keyboard being worn out. Mice I've worn out, and countless joysticks as well, but keyboards I kind of expect to last a bit longer. Thinking of it, maybe this isn't an exclusive first. My Amiga's keyboard exhibits some strange behaviour when the arrow keys are used extensively, but that keyboard's more than a bit older than this one (plus our older PC's keyboard has never so much as squeaked at us) ...
Whooops, seems to be time for Önska! See ya!
