It's still pretty much summer around here, in the afternoon this room keeps turning into a sauna ... Can't concentrate on writing this, P3 Live is playing behind me ( tonight's artist is Doktor Kosmos, and Gustav is writing a direct report of the event), the evening is comfortably warm, the window is open letting in summery scents and the head feels empty. Not in a bad way though, it's just that I can't seem to think of anything particular. Things feel good in that way which makes you enjoy the present more than worrying about future or past, and it doesn't require thinking too much right now. Just try and find any kind of connections in the above sentences, I have a feeling they may be pretty weak :-) ... Man, things are good.

Came up with this theory a few days ago that people aren't normally creative in direct sunlight. I still think there is something to the idea, the only slight annoyance is that I had the idea while in direct sunlight ...

Lemmings Revolution doesn't really live up to its name, it's more of Lemmings Revisited. And I can't think of a single thing the game has gained in the transition to 3d looks. 3d in this case means the levels are on the outside of a cylinder, nothing else. Gameplay is almost exactly the same, in fact the game would work better in 2d since pixel-perfect precision is more or less impossible in 3d. Distances in general feel more difficult to judge, and also all kinds of digging create jaggy ugly holes. So I don't think 3d was really a step up in this case, more of a sideway one ... Didn't mean for this to grow into any kind of rewiev-like thingy, so I'll just leave it here, ok?

My first and only LP (TSOOL's Welcome to the Infant Freebase) will be a year old in one month, and I still haven't got any more, or an LP player of my own for that matter ... It limits listening a bit, having to be in the dining room or the kitchen to do so. Still, it does make sure the songs don't get worn out, and that's always a good thing.
