Directly from the Palm ...

It's student day. Sitting in the middle of the town, cars decorated with birches driving by and honking all the time, one could never tell ... Seen some pretty cool vehicles, even though I look down all the time, like one where the students sat in a cage elevated by a crane and one digging machine where they sat in the ladle.

One of the gear wires of my bike gave up while I was on my way to work yesterday. Was stuck on the six lowest gears (of 18) all the way home, really funny ... Had to disconnect the whole front gear system and move the chain up manually. So now I've handed it in for a quick repair. Got about 1:45 to spend before I can get my bike back and go home. Once there I've got a three day weekend and a new Teddybears Stockholm album, currently in my pocket, to enjoy ...

Sitting on a stone wall right in the sun, sure glad I put on my shorts this morning. Just hope the Palm won't overheat or something ... Still haven't got any scratch protection for it either, and I don't like the speed at which they accumulate ...

It's 16:40 and the bike has been delayed to around 17:00. The students have all gone home to prepare for a long night's party, now it could be just any sunny summer afternoon. Have transfered to a bench closer to the bicycle shop after some standard shop-strolling. Found a really interesting book on webdesign in a store, pity books cost a fortune. At least I got a link to a list of recommended links from it, something to take a look at the next time online. Won't cost a fortune ...

Almost feels like I'm the one who's gone on holiday here. Well, I sure don't mind that feeling ... Five minutes to five, hope he's got it done. Or at least started ... Should be a pretty quick operation, causing the need for it was pretty quick anyway ...
