Feel like I've been a pretty good boy today. Been reading a lot, probably learnt a bit too, and have hardly even glanced at a computer until now (22:00, pats self on back). Even remembered to avoid being thrown out of the student apartment queue by making a single phonecall and waiting a while (without bad music though), who would have imagined that? Would be beneficial to be able to keep this up :-) ...

On the schedule for tomorrow: a trip to Parkhallen and getting someone to serve the bike. The other gear wire gave up today, three months after the first. Hope this isn't the start of a trend that will end with the whole thing giving up completely. Would be of very limited amusement if the wheels came loose mid-transit or something ... Perhaps I should have been nicer to it through the years ... Nah :-) ... Perhaps I should get a bus card for this winter by the way, I may well be stuck with 8,4 kilometers travel every day throughout the winter.

Finished my second Philip K Dick novel today, The Man in the High Castle. Bit of a strange story, nothing really came to any kind of conclusion, gave a bit of the feeling you were missing subtle hints between lines. Did like it though, alternate realities are always interesting (the Axis won, in short). Wonder if someone had spilled some perfume or something on the copy? Puffs of scent came at you while reading and made you wonder where it came from. Not used to smell-books ...

Surf too much nowadays. Would like to check email and stuff now too, but there's really no very good reason for not doing it tomorrow, and feel good about not adding to the phone bill today, instead. Dilemmas of a modem surfer ...
