Starting this entry at 23:38, while brushing my teeth (so it won't awake me when I feel like going to bed), the main reason being one update today and one tomorrow makes one update per day during a full week ...
Listening to Tubthumper for the first time in a long time and contemplating that I haven't got as much studying done today (too :-) as I meant to. Not directly my fault though, dad had me and Gustav help him put roofing pans on our rebuilt store for what felt like the better part of the day.
Just finished the Hacker Crackdown though, that redaing I got done with no problems ... Found it so satisfying that the trial against Knight Lightning was dropped, or reading about the way the supposed cost of the crime was "re-established" ... And really got upset about those equipment confiscation raids, just the kind of thing that gets me thinking about how much use authoroties really can be. Can't stand people who push others around too much, especially not when they take the others' computers ;-) ...
676 kB of ASCII, no frills, all on-screen. Find it hard to accept when people have to print everything they're going to read or consider important :-) ...
Will have to find a reliable bus timetable tomorrow, will have to utilize their services Monday morning. Damn nuisance, will even have to change buses halfway, all for a trip that takes less than thrirty minutes by bike at a relaxed pace.
Tubthumper still works so good ... And no, that's the album Tubthumping is the song! They never learn ... Have gone through quite a few CDs in my collection the last few days, adding more and more stuff to the contents of the computer desk (not exactly something we actively strive for around here) ... Hardly ever use my own stereo nowadays, it's in the wrong room, so the discs tend to pile up here unless I actively work against the trend ...
Could actually start tomorrow's entry now if I wanted to, but that would feel a bit like cheating ... Besides, I think I'll aim for an earlier bedtime today than yesterday (or early today if you need to be very correct). Just not into turning into a nightcreature anymore. One could argue that I don't exactly seem to treasure daylight very much either, but I still think I'll go to bed now, thank you very much.
